Professional Brazilian smoothing treatments and kits

Brazilian smoothing is the family of professional salon treatments that smooth and discipline the hair: the treatment is applied, left on, then set with a flat iron. At COIFFLISS you can buy 1 L treatments and kits from brands such as Borabella, Ana Paula Carvalho, Honma Tokyo, Brasil Cacau and Deby Hair.

How to choose, according to the manufacturers

How the treatments are applied

The steps are similar from brand to brand: clarifying shampoo, application in sections, leave-on time, rinse and blow-dry, then flat iron. Times and temperatures differ, so follow the label. For example, Deby Hair Lisa Protein specifies 60 minutes and an iron at 170 to 250 °C; Brasil Cacau Smoothing Protein 30 to 60 minutes and 180 to 230 °C; Vitta Gold Silk Express 30 to 40 minutes at 220 to 230 °C. These are professional products: always do a strand test first and follow the manufacturer's precautions.

Formaldehyde and claims

We repeat only what each manufacturer states. Vitta Gold describes its products above as formaldehyde-free on its official pages.

FAQ

How long does a Brazilian smoothing last?
It depends on the product, the hair and the aftercare. Where a manufacturer states a duration, we quote it on the product page; we make no promise of our own.

What is the difference with keratin, tannin or protein smoothing?
Brazilian smoothing is the general name. Keratin, tannin, protein and BTX describe the main approach of a formula, and each has its own collection.

Are these products for home use?
They are labelled for professional use. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and do a strand test.
