Cadiveu and Brasil Cacau are often searched together, and the two names overlap. This article names no winner: we have not tested the products, and the official pages we could read do not allow results to be compared. Two names, one visible link
Cadiveu Professional is, according to the footer of its official store, a hair-care company based in São Paulo, Brazil. Brasil Cacau's official US page for Smoothing Protein recommends, in its protocol, Cadiveu Professional açai oil and carries Cadiveu's social links. The two names are therefore clearly linked. We found no page describing the relationship: if the exact organisation of the ranges matters to you, ask your reseller or the brand.
What we offer
- Cadiveu: Plástica dos Fios Kit, a 3 × 1 L kit. On the official store we read, we found no page describing this kit: we list it by name and size.
- Brasil Cacau: Smoothing Protein 1 L, EcoKeratin 1 L and the EcoKeratin Brilliance & Discipline kit 3 × 1 L. Only Smoothing Protein has a detailed official page that we could read.
What can be compared today
- Target hair: Brasil Cacau presents Smoothing Protein for thick, resistant hair. For the Cadiveu kit we found no official indication.
- Protocol: for Smoothing Protein, the page gives an anti-residue shampoo, application in 6 sections, 30 to 60 minutes leave-on, an iron with 10 to 15 passes between 180 and 230 °C, then a deep conditioning mask for 5 to 10 minutes. For the Cadiveu kit, follow the instructions supplied with the product.

- Duration: for Smoothing Protein, Brasil Cacau states a smooth, frizz-free effect for up to 3 months. This is a manufacturer statement that we do not guarantee. We found no duration statement for the Cadiveu kit.
- Format: a 1 L bottle or a multi-product kit (3 × 1 L). The difference matters most if the protocol calls for several steps.
How to decide
Start with what is written, not with the name. If you want a single product with a published protocol, Smoothing Protein is the only one in this comparison whose official page we could read. If you want a complete kit, compare contents: we cannot describe Cadiveu's without a source, so ask the reseller or the brand for the list before buying. In every case, do a strand test and follow the label.

The Smoothing Protein protocol, step by step
Brasil Cacau's official page describes seven steps: anti-residue shampoo (lather, 5 minutes, rinse, repeat if needed); dry completely; divide into 6 sections, apply and leave on for 30 to 60 minutes; dry completely again; flat iron thin strands from root to tip 10 to 15 times at 180 to 230 °C; deep conditioning mask for 5 to 10 minutes; rinse and style. The shampoo and the mask are separate products, sold separately: to be planned in addition to the bottle.
Doing a strand test
Whatever the product, a trial on a small strand before the full application shows how the hair reacts to the leave-on time and the heat of the iron. Note the leave-on time, the temperature and the result, and keep those notes. A test does not guarantee the result on the whole head, but it avoids discovering a disagreement on the scale of the entire head.
What this comparison does not do
It does not rank the brands, promises no duration or result, and does not replace the label or the advice of a professional hairdresser. For the Cadiveu kit as for EcoKeratin, we found no detailed official page: we say so rather than fill the gap with reseller claims. If a piece of information is missing, ask for it before buying.
